NAIDOC Week 2022

NAIDOC Week 2022

NAIDOC Week gives Australians an opportunity to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. It provides an opportunity to participate in driving awareness and creating change through activities and knowledge.

This year’s Naidoc Week theme is Get Up! Stand Up! Show Up! Whether it's seeking environmental, cultural and heritage protections, Constitutional change, a comprehensive process of truth-telling, working towards treaties, or calling out racism - we must work together to amplify our voices and narrow the gap between aspiration and reality, good intent and outcome.

This week’s florals are inspired by and in recognition of NAIDOC Week, proudly created by Collins Square’s own Miei. These Indigenous and native inspired florals are located within our lobbies in Tower 1 & 2, Tower 4 and Tower 5.

Find out how you can support NAIDOC week through our initiatives below.

Indigenous Literacy Foundation is an organisation that provides support across remote communities across Australia. As access to reading material is limited, ILF provide the tools and resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to help shape children’s literacy future. Literacy provides a fundamental step of building comprehension and knowledge, missing that foundational step has a lifelong impact.

Help us support the Indigenous Literacy Foundation by placing a bid on this week’s florals through our Flower Auction page, or click a pledge and Collins Square will donate $1 to the foundation.

Pledge your commitment to make change by selecting one of the below examples of how you can learn about NAIDOC week.
