National Reconciliation Week
The 2026 National Reconciliation Week theme, All In, calls on all Australians to commit to reconciliation through everyday actions, learning and accountability.
This year, we invite our community to take the time to engage with our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to consider how each of us can play a role in reconciliation.
Step through, observe, reflect and act, as you experience a large‑scale art installation in the heart of our Main Retail Plaza, featuring Murrup Birrarung, Spirit River by Simone Thomson. The work speaks to spiritual connection with the Birrarung and the life‑giving waterways that have sustained Country, culture and community for generations.
Simone Thomson is a proud Wurundjeri Woi‑Wurrung, Yorta Yorta and Wiradjuri woman and contemporary First Nations artist. Her practice is grounded in storytelling, identity and connection to Country, creating spaces for reflection, learning and deeper understanding through accessible visual art.
