A Year of Giving
Date Published: 15th Dec 2025
This year was all about giving back at Collins Square, with the precinct rallying together to support causes close to our hearts. Through a series of activations, events, and festive initiatives, we raised almost $45,000 for charities and social causes that make a real difference in our community.
Major Charity Highlights
Cancer Council – $13,700 Raised
Our Daffodil Day activation was a standout success, featuring a 4-meter-tall inflatable daffodil in the Retail Plaza and raising over $10,000 through daffodil and pin sales. Plus, our Parisian-style café for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea added a sweet touch, generating more than $3,000 from pastry sales.
RSL Victoria – Over $13,000 Raised
We proudly supported RSL Victoria through two major campaigns honouring our veterans. ANZAC Day pin sales raised $8,100 and Remembrance Day Poppy sales generated over $5,000.
Property Industry Foundation – Haven Project
Our Lobby Flower Auction bloomed with generosity, raising approximately $6,200 throughout the year. During our Christmas campaign, festive activities like the Gift-Wrapping Station encouraged donations to support homeless youth, contributing thousands to the Haven Project.
Beyond Monetary Contributions
This year, we partnered with Red Cross Lifeblood, which generated over 50 bookings and dozens of new donors. We collected hundreds of period products for Share the Dignity, donated 20+ boxes of food to the Salvation Army and Foodbank, and recycled used phones for DV Phone Safe.
These achievements were made possible by the incredible support of our tenants, visitors, and partners. From themed activations to festive charity drives, every initiative reflected the spirit of community that defines Collins Square.
As we look ahead to 2026, we remain committed to creating meaningful experiences that not only engage but also give back to those who need it most.
Thank you for your support!
